Cool Art: 'They Live: Alley Fight' by PJ McQuade

'They Live: Alley Fight' by PJ McQuade, is a new print from Bottleneck Gallery.

Inspired by the 6 minute fight scene from John Carpenter's 'They Live', this new print is available in three different limited editions. There's the regular version that features the original fight between Nada and Frank, in a limited edition of 50, a variant edition inspired by the Season 5 episode of South Park, "Cripple Fight" in a limited of 50, as well as an "Obey" variant in a limited edition of 25. All editions are 13" x 19" giclée print and cost $45 each.

Cool Art: 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Prints From Mondo

Mondo originally debuted these 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' prints at SDCC last week, but they are now releasing them online.

They are all 24" x 36" screenprints in hand numbered limited editions. Tyler Stout's group print is a limited edition of 750 and costs $60. Francesco Francavilla's 'Starlord' print is a limited edition of 300 and costs $55. 'Rocket Racoon' by Kevin Tong is a limited edition of 300 and costs $45. Phantom City Creative's 'Drax' screenprint is a limited edition of 250 and costs $45. 'Gamora' by Vance Kelly is a limited edition of 225 and costs $45.

Cool Art: Last Rites Gallery presents 'Silent Tragedies' by Donato Giancola

Last Rites Gallery presents 'Silent Tragedies', an art show featuring the recent interpretative works of Donato Giancola, from the worlds of JRR Tolkien’s Middle-earth to George RR Martin’s 'A Song of Ice and Fire 2015 Calendar', and works related to his water and beach mythologies.

The show will comprise of approximately twenty oil paintings and a dozen drawings, and runs from August 30 until October 4 at Last Rites Gallery, 325 W. 38th Street #1, Between 8th and 9th Avenues, New York, New York 10018. The opening reception is on August 30, 7-11pm, with Donato attending.

Cool Art: Print Club London presents 'Film4 Summer Screen' Art Exhibition at Somerset House

Back for a second year, Film4 Summer Screen at Somerset House season has commissioned Print Club London to curate a series of contemporary screen-printed film posters for the 10 year anniversary season.

Renowned for printing, curating and dealing screen-printed artworks Print Club London has hand-picked an assortment of styles and artists, including Rose Blake, Hattie Stewart, Kate Moross, Steve Wilson, Kate Gibb and HelloVon.

Each film poster will be a limited edition and exclusively available to buy for £45 from the exhibition at Somerset House. The exhibition will be open daily until late throughout the Film4 Summer Screen at Somerset House season, which runs until August 25.

Cool Art: Cover Art To 'Saga' Hardcover Collection

As announced during last weekend's San Diego Comic Con, 'Saga: Book One' collects the first three collected volumes (issues 1-18) of 'Saga' by Brian K Vaughan and Fiona Staples. 

The 504-page Book One features brand new cover art, and as Vaughan and Staples revealed in their Comic-Con panel, the cover of each hardcover edition will feature the series’ main character, Hazel. Book One’s cover depicts Hazel breastfeeding as an infant.

'Saga: Book One' Deluxe Hardcover will be released on November 25, 2014 by Image Comics and costs $49.99.

Cover Art For Marvel's Return To The 'Star Wars' Universe

Marvel Comics has announced three new series in their return to the 'Star Wars' universe. The first issues of each series will be released in the first few months of 2015 and are all set not long after the events of 'Episode IV: A New Hope'.

'Star Wars', an ongoing series written by Jason Aaron and illustrated by John Cassaday, will be set two weeks after 'Episode IV: A New Hope'.

'Star Wars: Princess Leia' is a five issue mini series written by Mark Waid and illustrated by Terry Dodson and follows the Princess as she comes to terms with the destruction of her homeworld of Alderaan.

Cool Art: Bernie Wrightson's 'Frankenstein Print Suite 3' from Nakatomi

Bernie Wrightson's illustrated adaptation of 'Frankenstein' was originally published by Marvel Comics in the early 80's. And with the efforts of collectors, the original art boards were located and scanned. Nakatomi is now able to offer these as exclusive hand-printed silkscreen prints.

This third print suite is available as 20" x 30" screenprints in a limited edition of 50, and go on sale Thursday July 24 at 2pm (Central Time).

The seventh print in this series, 'Alone', is previously unpublished, and was not included in the original series.
