Winners Of The 2022 Harvey Awards Announced

The winners of the 2022 Harvey Awards have been announced.

The Harvey Awards are named in honour of the late Harvey Kurtzman, the cartoonist and founding editor of MAD magazine, and are voted on entirely by comics professionals.

The winners were announced during New York Comic Con, October 6-9 2022.

Book of the Year

• The Good Asian, Vol. 1 by Pornsak Pichetshote and Alexandre Tefenkgi (Image Comics)

Digital Book of the Year

• Lore Olympus by Rachel Smythe

Best Children’s or Young Adult Book

• Squire by Nadia Shammas and Sara Alfageeh (HarperAlley)

Best Manga

• Chainsaw Man by Tatsuki Fujimot, translated by Amanda Haley (VIZ Media)

Best International Book

• Sweet Paprika by Mirka Andolfo (Image Comics)

Best Adaptation from Comic Book / Graphic Novel

• Ms Marvel (Disney+) based on Ms Marvel (Marvel Comics)
