#CoolArt: 'Starman' by Andy Fairhurst

The David Bowie tribute, 'Starman' by Andy Fairhurst, is a new print release from Art V Cancer.

It's a 330mm x 483mm (A3+) giclee print on archival paper in a limited edition of 30 and costs £32, with a large proportion of the sale being donated to Cancer Charities.

It goes on sale Friday February 26 at 6pm UK.

Cool Art: New Prints From Art V Cancer

Art V Cancer have released five new prints with a large proportion of the print sales (equating to at least £10/$15 per print) going to Cancer Charities. They are also offering FREE SHIPPING on all prints until August 31.

They are 330mm x 483mm giclée prints on somerset textured, radiant white archival paper, in signed limited editions of 25 and cost $32.

Cool Art: 'Mary Shelley's Frankenstein' by Dan Mumford

'Mary Shelley's Frankenstein' by Dan Mumford, is a new print release by Art V Cancer, and the first in a monthly series where they will release a new print by a new artist based on the theme of classic book covers.

This is an 18" x 24" 5 colour screen print, in a signed and numbered limited edition of 50.

It goes on sale Friday January 9 at 6pm UK (1pm EST / 10am PST).

Cool Art: 'Like My Father Before Me' by Joshua Budich

The 'Return Of The Jedi' inspired, 'Like My Father Before Me' by Joshua Budich, is the final of his 'Star Wars' Original Trilogy series. Click the links to see his previous 'Star Wars' and 'The Empire Strikes Back' prints from the series.

It's an 18" x 24", 5-colour screenprint on French Madero Beach paper, in a signed and numbered limited edition of 100.

The print will be available this Friday, August 15th, 2014, from the Art v Cancer website on 6pm BST (10am PDT / 1pm EST), with proceeds from the sales will be donated to the charities supported by Art v Cancer.

Cool Art: 'We're Doomed' by Joshua Budich

'We're Doomed' by Joshua Budich.

This is part of Art v Cancer’s contribution to the Thought Bubble Festival that runs from November 17-24 in Leeds, UK. The Art V Cancer project was set up by artist Chris Thornley (aka Raid71), who was diagnosed at the age of 37 with a rare incurable form of lymphoma.

The print is a 18″ x 24″, signed and numbered, 4-colour screenprint on French Madero Beach paper. It's in also in a limited edition of 100, and will only be available at the Art v Cancer show, with any leftover prints going onsale at the Art V Cancer website following the gallery show.

Cool Art: 'Terminating Loop' by Sam Gilbey

'Terminating Loop' is a 'Terminator' inspired piece that is featured in Art V Cancer's 'Bending Time & Space' art show, that also features some superb artists and raised funds for several Cancer charities (CLIC Sargent (Children & Young People with Cancer), CALLM ( Caring for Adults with Leukemia, Lymphoma & Myeloma), Cancer Research, The Breast Cancer Campaign and Prostate Cancer).

This is a 13" x 19" glicée print and is limited to just 10 copies and costs £20. It's available here.

Art V Cancer presents 'Bending Time & Space' Art Show

Art V Cancer is hosting it’s second exhibition, ‘Bending Time & Space’ at the 2022NQ in Manchester, UK, on 30th August 6pm. Featuring signed limited edition screen prints, giclee prints and one-off pieces of art by awesome artists, all in the name of raising money for Cancer Charities! They have now raised over £8700/$13300 for CLIC Sargent (Children & Young People with Cancer), CALLM ( Caring for Adults with Leukemia, Lymphoma & Myeloma), Cancer Research, The Breast Cancer Campaign and Prostate Cancer.
