Cool Art: 'Up To 88' Prints by Under The Floorboards

‘Up To 88!’ is the official 2015 Showmasters fundraising campaign to benefit The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s’ research, and will run from February 1 2015 to October 21 2015 – Back To The Future Day!

The aim of ‘Up To 88!’ is to channel the ‘fan-force’ of the 'Back to the Future' movies, with a target to raise $88,000 through direct donations and fan fundraisers to the ‘Up To 88!’ team page on the Team Fox website.

Showmasters will also be hosting events across the UK in 2015, in partnership with Gibson Brands. All of these events will host 'Back To The Future' fan experiences as part of their Return to the Future activities.

2014 HCG Artist Awards

It's been a great year for pop culture inspired art. And that's been seen nowhere better than at Hero Complex Gallery in Los Angeles, where they have exhibited art show after art show, showcasing the very best pop culture art works from some of the best artists, throughout the year!

And to honour and celebrate the awesome artists they work with, many of which I feature quite regularly on this blog, HCG have launched their inaugural Artist Awards. Rather than single out any one particular artist, they decided to to praise a few artists who went above and beyond. The criteria in determining these awards included:
  • Excellence in Art
  • A Passion to Create
  • Unique Artist POV
  • Continued Personal Growth
  • Strength of Character
  • Loyalty to HCG & Consistent Exhibition with HCG
  • Support of Fellow Artists & the Art Community at Large
And so, onto the inaugural HCG Artist Awards.
