#CoolArt: Flower Pepper Gallery presents 'See The Stars' Group Art Exhibition
Flower Pepper Gallery presents 'See The Stars', a group art exhibition featuring artwork by Audrey Pongracz, Jaclyn Alderete, Jel Ena, Mandy Cao, and Valerie Pobjoy, celebrating the idea that beauty is found in unexpected places.
"Sometimes we must venture into the obscurity of night and experience darkness that appears all consuming before we can see glimmers of light pierce the sky, and we are reminded, once again, that hope can never be eclipsed so long as we are still able to See The Stars. For most people in the world, this has been a truly challenging time, and through their work, these artists are reminding us that, "Only in the darkness can you see the stars." (Martin Luther King Jr.)"
Opening reception is Saturday September 17 from 6.30pm - 9.30pm at Flower Pepper Gallery, 121 East Union Street, Pasadena, CA 91103 and will be on display until October 11.

PRISMA is an artist collective that brings together an eclectic group of renowned creatives from all around the globe-the United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Ukraine, and Taiwan.
Now entering their fourth year together, PRISMA has strived to compile not only a vast collection of artwork but also an insight into their personal careers and biographies in their first official publication, The PRISMA Book.
Designed by PRISMA artist Tom Bagshaw, The PRISMA Book is a 260 page collection of artwork from 28 international creatives, and measures 8.5” x 11” with a silver foil blocking on cover and spine. The deluxe softcover book features step by step photo documentations of each artist’s working process, as well as in depth answers to frequently asked questions from fans and followers.
A very limited edition of 50 copies will be sold exclusively through Spoke Art on the opening night of 'The PRISMA Collective 3rd Annual Group Show', and copies will made available via Spoke Art’s online store on February 9.
Many of the work in progress pieces documented for the book will also be shown at the gallery as part of the Group Show, giving the spectator the intimate experience of following the initial sketch to the final artwork on the wall.
Opening reception is Saturday February 7 from 6pm - 10pm at Spoke Art Gallery, 816 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA 94109 and some artists will be in attendance. As a special bonus, the first 75 people in the door get a free 8″ x 10″ print from one of three PRISMA artists in the collective: Kelly McKernan, Caitlin Hackett or Redd Walitzki.
