Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the exhibition will be available to view on the Spoke Art website from Thursday April 16 at 10am PT.

Spoke Art & MiDNiTES FOR MANiACS present 'Miyazaki Mania', a six film festival at the Roxie Theater in San Francisco featuring new limited edition screen prints available at the evening screenings in the cinema lobby, as well some older archive prints from previous Miyazaki screenings.

The film festival runs from Friday December 20 until Sunday December 22 2019 at the Roxie Theater, 3117 16th Street, San Francisco, CA.

Any remaining prints from the screenings will be available from the Spoke Art website Thursday December 26.

Spoke Art presents 'My Neighbor Hayao', a three day group art exhibition at the Ala Moana Center during Pow! Wow! Hawaii, featuring paintings, embroidery, sculptures and limited edition prints from over one hundred participating artists from around the world celebrating the films of Japanese film-maker and animator Hayao Miyazaki.

The exhibition will be on view from 6-9pm PT Wednesday February 13 until Sunday February 17 at Ala Moana Center (Unit 1234),1450 Ala Moana Blvd, Honolulu, HI 96814.

2017 Chesley Awards Winners Announced


The winners of the 2017 Chesley Awards were announced at NorthAmeriCon 17 in San Juan, Puerto Rico July 6-9.

The Chesley Awards were established by the Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists (ASFA) to recognize individual artistic works and achievements in the field of science fiction and fantasy.

#CoolArt: 'Kiki's Delivery Service' & 'Spirited Away' by Joshua Budich

Spoke Art and Midnites For Maniacs present special 35mm screenings of Hayao Miyazaki's 'Kiki's Delivery Service' and 'Spirited Away' (plus 'My Neighbor Totoro' and 'Princess Mononoke') at the Roxie Theater in San Francisco on Saturday February 18 and Sunday February 19.

The posters by Joshua Budich are in signed and numbered limited editions of 150, and will be available at the screening.

Any remaining prints will go online afterwards at the Spoke Art website.

Spoke Art's 'Miyazaki' art show is on display until February 25.

Hayao Miyazaki's last animated feature is 'The Wind Rises', which looks at the life of Jiro Horikoshi, the man who designed Japanese fighter planes during World War II.
