Cool Art: Variant Cover Art For New 'Red Sonja' Series From Dynamite Comics

'Red Sonja' (along with Dejah Thoris and Vampirella) will be relaunched in 2016 by Dynamite Comics, with a new look redesigned by Nicola Scott and following a new direction overseen by Gail Simone, whose two year run as writer on the current 'Red Sonja' series has just ended.

'Red Sonja' #1, by Marguerite Bennett (Bombshells, A-Force, Angela) and Aneke (Legenderry: Red Sonja, Damsels) is scheduled for release on January 13, 2016.

Cool Art: 'Swords Of Sorrow' by Tula Lotay

'Swords Of Sorrow' by Tula Lotay, is a new limited edition print of the cover art from the first issue of the six part comic series written by Gail Simone and illustrated by Sergio Davila from Dynamite Comics.

It's a 17.5" x 11.2" indigo print on 324gsm Mohawk Eggshell Superfine Ultrawhite Stock in a signed and numbered limited edition of 75 and costs £25.

It goes on sale Monday May 25 at 5pm (UK).

Cool Art: Conan & Red Sonja To Cross Swords For Dark Horse Comics

Announced at SDCC, Jim Zub (replacing Brian Wood) and Gail Simone will be co-writing the Conan / Red Sonja crossover for Dark Horse Comics, with art by Dan Panosian.

The series will see the two characters meeting up at various stages in their lives.
