This was a private commission for an art collector.

"The collector took a print of the illustration the New York Comic- Con recently and this is what he wrote about meeting with Sigourney Weaver: 

"Sigourney Weaver asked if I was the artist. I told her, "No, my friend Mark did it." She responded, "I've seen a lot of art of the character. A lot of it doesn't come out well. This one is beautiful." Then afterwards, as I was about to leave the room, a guy called me over to look at the print. He scrutinized it, then said, "Wow. This is great." It was Jim Simpson, Sigourney's husband".

This is the final artwork for the official Lobby poster for the 'Return of the Jedi' special screening that was held in the Steve Jobs theatre at Pixar this past weekend.

The cinematic classic that introduced the world to Indiana Jones is ready to embark on a new adventure when director Steven Spielberg and executive producer George Lucas’ unforgettable Raiders of the Lost Ark is released for an exclusive one-week engagement in select IMAX theatres beginning September 7, 2012. The film has undergone a complete restoration for the IMAX exclusive one-week release and subsequent debut on Blu-ray.
