Marvel Comics returned to the 'Star Wars' universe last week with the first issue of an ongoing series written by Jason Aaron, illustrated by John Cassady, coloured by Laura Martin, and lettered by Chris Eliopolous.

There was also a glut of variant cover art, including solicited variants produced by Marvel as well as retailer exclusives, to celebrate 'Star Wars' #1.

Check out the cover art below, I've not included some of the black & white sketch variants, just the full colour editions.

Cool Art: DC Comics Movie Poster Variant Covers

DC Comics’ newest batch of variant covers are inspired by classic Warner Bros. movie posters, and are the latest cover mash ups in their series of monthly variant cover themes which has included monsters in October, LEGO in November and December's Darwyn Cooke variants.

2015 kicks off with January's variant covers paying tribute to the Flash’s 75th Anniversary, while Harley Quinn steals the stage in February. You'll have to wait until March 2015 for these movie poster variant covers at your local comic shop.
