Corey Helford Gallery presents a new 7 artist art exhibition of new works by Andy Adamson, Helice Wen, kozyndan, Rodolfo Loaiza, Travis Lampe, Yang Cao, and Zoé Byland.

Seven is called the number of completeness and CHG’s February show promises a complete view of the latest in New Contemporary art: Andy Adamson's ceramics bring his unique sense of humor to pop culture's favorite characters, Helice Wen's beautiful figurative paintings capture moments of fragility and intimacy rarely seen, kozyndan's delightful paintings on Japanese scrolls offer a fresh new take on ‘nihonga,' Rodolfo Loaiza's works take the taboos of reality and inject them into the idealized world of Disney, the topsy turvy world portrayed in Travis Lampe's paintings is a trip out of pandemia, Yang Cao takes us high above with new additions to his dreamy "Clouds" portraits, and Zoé Byland revisits the past in her haunting monochromatic portrayals that merge vintage with contemporary.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the exhibition will be available on view at the gallery through appointment only and on the Corey Helford Gallery website and Facebook page, and on Instagram Live (@coreyhelfordgallery) on Saturday February 27.

The exhibition will be on view in the Main Gallery through April 3 2021.

Corey Helford Gallery presents a three person art exhibition, featuring new artwork by Junko Mizuno, Mayuka Yamamoto and Travis Lampe.

'Soma' by Junko Mizuno, encapsulates the growth, maturity, and finality of the human existence in a celebration of life, death and the human body. The definition of “soma”: 1: the body of an organism 2: all of an organism except the germ cells 3: cell body.

'Animal Boys' by Mayka Yamamoto, reflects on her childhood and explores ideas of natural instinct and anxieties, related to growing up, preferring to leave her “animal boys” (children dressed like animals) and enigmatic expressions against soft, pale backgrounds, a mystery to her viewers.

'Tales Best Left Untold' by Travis Lampe, is inspired by storybook tales that you heard as a child, 'improving' the old tales with the addition of way more punching and quite a bit more booze.

The exhibition is on view until Saturday March 30 at Corey Helford Gallery 2, 571 S Anderson Street (Enter on Willow Street), Los Angeles, CA 90033.
