ArtHatch and Distinction Gallery presents 'Hearsee' by Aaron Jasinski, a solo art show showcasing the act of creating and listening to music, using surreal humour, contrast, colour, and texture to evoke the expression and experience of sounds.

Opening Reception is Saturday June 11 from 6-10pm at Distinction Gallery, 317 E Grand Ave., Escondido, CA 92025 with Live Music and Aaron will also be in attendance. The show will be on view until July 2. Local artists within the ArtHatch building will also have their studios open to the public.

Another New Track From 'Man Of Steel' Soundtrack

Another track from Hans Zimmer's score for the new 'Man Of Steel' has popped up online.

"My inspiration for the music came from trying to celebrate all that is good and kind in the people of America's heartland, without cleverness or cynicism. Just from the heart," Zimmer told Rolling Stone. "I wanted the epic sound of the fields and farms stretching past the horizon, of the wind humming in the telephone wires." But the massive score comes less from Superman's epic battle with villain General Zod and more from his introverted personal issues. "The music is less about the icon that Superman is," Zimmer says, "and more about the outsider with extraordinary powers and his struggle to become a part of humanity."

'Man Of Steel' Theme Soundtrack Preview

I am loving the new Superman theme by Han Zimmer for 'Man Of Steel' that was featured in the trailers. Very anthemic, just like the original John Williams 1978 score, and definitely pumps you up! Can't wait to hear the full soundtrack score when it's released on June 11, just before the movie hits cinemas on June 14. Check out a special preview track below.

'Doctor Who' Returns To BBC Proms

Doctor Who returns to the Proms to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the popular BBC series. As well as showcasing Murray Gold’s music from the past eight years, including the Habanera from Bizet’s Carmen Suite No. 2, Debussy’s ‘La fille aux cheveux de lin’ and Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor, the concert also journeys back to the early days of Doctor Who and the groundbreaking work of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop.

Featuring special guests from the series, big screens and a host of monsters ready to invade the Royal Albert Hall, this is not the year to be exterminated!

The concert will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 from 7.30pm on Saturday July 13 and will be recorded for broadcast on BBC One.

Title Track From The Soundtrack Of The Tom Cruise Sci Fi Film 'Oblivion'

Anthony Gonzalez and Joseph Trapanese collaborated on the score for the Tom Cruise sci-fi film 'Oblivion'. They've already shared the track 'StarWaves'. Now, here's the title track 'Oblivion', which features Norwegian singer Susanne Sundfør.

'Oblivion' is out April 19 with its soundtrack arriving April 9 via Back Lot Records.

I love the original soundtrack for the multiple award winning video game 'Journey' composed by Austin Wintory, and so this is pretty dang cool! A medley of the tracks 'Apotheosis' and 'I Was Born For This' off that soundtrack by Taylor Davis on the violin.

Space Jam: 'I.S.S. (Is Somebody Singing)' by Chris Hadfield and Barenaked Ladies

Astronaut Chris Hadfield, from aboard the International Space Station, performs "I.S.S. (Is Somebody Singing)" with Ed Robertson, the rest of the Barenaked Ladies and the Wexford Gleeks from Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts, who were all at the CBC studios in Toronto.

The song, which was written by Hadfield and Robertson in partnership with Music Monday, CBC Music and the Canadian Space Agency, explores what it's like to look down on the Earth from outer space.

And now via a Japanese released Blu-ray entitled, Joe Hisaishi in Budokan: Studio Ghibli 25 Years Concert, you can enjoy selections from from Nausicaa, Ponyo, Laputa, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke and more Ghibli films from this special concert.

Listen To Neil Finn's Song From 'The Hobbit' Closing Credits

Written and performed by Crowded House front-man Neil Finn, 'Song of the Lonely Mountain' is an epic ballad developed from a theme the film’s dwarves sing early in the film, and heard briefly in the trailers.

Neil Finn told Rolling Stone Magazine, that Peter Jackson and his team suggested he get in a "dwarven state of mind" as he shaped the song to play over the end credits. "After some days of mining underground (actually, in Peter's office) I emerged with the song, then set about recording it with my sons Elroy and Liam. Dave Fridmann came in at the end with a bold mix. He seemed to respond well to my demands for 'more anvil!' Pop music needs more anvil!"
