Cool Art: Modern Eden Gallery presents 'Exquisite Corpse' by Redd Walitzki

Modern Eden Gallery presents 'Exquisite Corpse', a solo exhibition of new paintings by Redd Walitzki.

"The central theme in 'Exquisite Corpse' is drawn from a Greek myth, in which Chloris (the Goddess of Flowers) stumbles upon the lifeless body of a woodland nymph. Saddened by the innocent creature’s fate, Chloris breathes new life into her, transforming the nymph’s body into a flower."

Opening reception is on Saturday October 10 from 6-9 pm at Modern Eden Gallery, 801 Greenwich Street, San Francisco, CA 94133, and mezzo-soprano Roxanna Walitzki (Redd’s sister and frequent collaborator), performs her imaginative new arrangements of art-songs by Fauré and Debussy. The exhibition is on display until November 7 2015.
