Cool Art: Little White Lies & 3rd Rail present 'The Great Guillermo'

Little White Lies & 3rd Rail present 'The Great Guillermo', an art exhibition hosted at 71a Gallery, inspired by the films of Guillermo del Toro and re-interpreted as Victorian era Gothic book covers.

A hand-picked selection of artists will re-interpret each film as a book cover, and each artwork will be displayed as an A1 size screenprint.

The artists featured in the exhibition and the films they will re-interpret include: Luke Drozd (Cronos), Laurène Boglio (Mimic), Lola Beltrán (The Devil's Backbone), Pedro Oyarbide (Blade II), Chris DeLorenzo (Hellboy), Sam Dunn (Pan's Labyrinth), MUTI (Hellboy II: The Golden Army), Drew Millward (Pacific Rim) and Telegramme (Crimson Peak).

The opening reception is Friday October 16 from 6-9.30pm at 71a Gallery, 71 Leonard Street, London EC2A 4QS, go here to RSVP, and a limited run of the prints will also be available on the night. The exhibition is on display until October 18.

Cool Art: Little White Lies presents 'For One Night Only: A Coen Brothers Gig Poster Extravaganza'

Inspired by the Coen Brother's latest film, 'Inside Llewyn Davis' - the snow-swept ballad of a struggling New York troubadour, Little White Lies commissioned seven artists to create classic silk-screen gig posters that reframe some of the Coen Brothers most iconic movies as headlining musical acts.

Each is a screen print including Metallic Silver on 270gsm MOHAWK superfine eggshell white paper, custom stamped and in a limited edition of 50. They cost £85 each.
