#CoolArt: 'Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan' by Matt Taylor

Mondo are releasing James Horner's soundtrack for 'Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan' as a gatefold vinyl LP album.

The cover art is by Matt Taylor and is pressed on 180g Mutara Nebula Coloured Vinyl and contained in a deluxe gatefold jacket with exclusive liner notes by Devin Faraci, and has been remastered for vinyl by James Plotkin.

It costs $35 and goes on sale on Wednesday January 13. Follow @mondonews on Twitter for the on sale announcement.

Forest Lawn Museum presents 'Drew & Bob: The Masters Of Movie Art' Art Show

If you're into movie poster art, then you can't have failed to have seen the art of Bob Peak and Drew Struzan adorn some of Hollywood's most iconic movie posters. From Bob's poster art for 'Enter The Dragon', 'Apocalypse Now', 'Rollerball' and 'Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan', through to Drew's posters for 'The Thing', 'Back To The Future', 'Star Wars' and 'Indiana Jones'.

From January 24 until May 26, Forest Lawn Museum presents an art exhibition showcasing the illustration and fine art of Drew Struzan and Bob Peak. Opening Reception is on Saturday, February 1 from 6pm until 8pm in Glendale, CA.

Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan poster for Mondo screening

This poster will be on sale at the 30th anniversary screening of Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan at the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Texas this weekend.

The poster is an 18" x 24" Screenprint in an edition of 220 and will cost $40. The artist is We Buy Your Kids.
