In conjunction with Adrian's new art exhibition, Corey Helford Gallery invites the public to a creative wellness event and live performance by Adrian Cox, titled 'The Ritual of Unknowing: A Surrealist Meditation Experience', taking place on Saturday, March 7 from 2-3pm PT. 

This one-hour, in-person, free event at the gallery blends surrealist art, ambient sound, and guided meditation to lead participants into their imagination and inner creative world. Developed during a period of creative burnout, the ritual grew out of Adrian’s personal wellness practice and became a way for him to reconnect with his artistic voice. 

At the center of the ritual led by the artist are 'The Well of Dreams Cycle' (audio playlist featuring hypnotic soundscapes) and 'The Altar of Unknowing' (mixed-media installation), two works that began as exploratory tools in Cox’s studio and evolved into essential components of the exhibition. Participants will be seated before the altar while listening to Cox’s original soundscapes, experiencing the same creative pathways that helped shape his work. 

Originally created as “wayfinders” during his search for artistic clarity, these pieces became gateways into his imaginative process, transforming personal reflection into a shared experience. Through sound, symbolism, and guided narration, Cox invites visitors to enter the inner landscape that fueled his practice and to take part in a collective journey into creativity and the unknown.

Guests are encouraged to attend and participate by bringing a yoga mat and pillow for this immersive audio-visual experience designed to inspire reflection, stillness, and creativity.
