#CoolArt: The Cover Art Of 'Valérian & Laureline'

With the release of the film 'Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets', based on the sixth book in the series 'Ambassador Of The Shadows' and directed by Luc Besson, here is a collection of the cover art from the original comics the film is based on.

The very first adventure, 'Les Mauvais Rêves' (English: 'Bad Dreams') written by Pierre Christin, illustrated by Jean-Claude Mézières, and coloured by Eveline Tranlé, was first published on 9 November 1967 in the French-Belgian comics anthology magazine Pilote in issue #420, and is included in English for the first time in 'Valerian & Laureline Collection Vol 1' published by Cinebook. The latest is Volume 22: 'Memories From The Futures'.
