Cool Art: Variant Cover Art For New 'Red Sonja' Series From Dynamite Comics

'Red Sonja' (along with Dejah Thoris and Vampirella) will be relaunched in 2016 by Dynamite Comics, with a new look redesigned by Nicola Scott and following a new direction overseen by Gail Simone, whose two year run as writer on the current 'Red Sonja' series has just ended.

'Red Sonja' #1, by Marguerite Bennett (Bombshells, A-Force, Angela) and Aneke (Legenderry: Red Sonja, Damsels) is scheduled for release on January 13, 2016.

'Red Sonja' Returns To Comics

Red Sonja is back in a brand new series for Dynamite Comics this July and gets a fresh new attitude by writer Gail Simone (Batgirl, Birds of Prey) and artist Walter Geovani (Prophecy, Witchblade). This new series also features covers by the top female artists in the industry, including Nicola Scott, Amanda Conner, Fiona Staples, Jenny Frison, Colleen Doran, Stephanie Buscema and more.  Check out the various covers for the first issue below.
