For 'Alien Day', Mondo are releasing a special double vinyl LP edition of the 'Prometheus' soundtrack composed by Marc Streitenfeld, with the cover artwork by Kilian Eng and featuring exclusive liner notes by Marc Streitenfeld.

The album is pressed on 180gm Engineer White with grey splatter vinyl in a limited edition of 1000, and on 180gm Black Vinyl for $35

After Jon Spaihts' early 'Prometheus' script popped up online, you can now read Damon Lindelof's final draft of the script, entitled 'Paradise'. So you can now compare Jon's draft with Damon's draft and see which scenes and which version you prefer.

Read An Early 'Prometheus' Script Written by Jon Spaihts

The final script for Ridley Scott's Alien prequel, 'Prometheus' underwent several rewrites and 'Lost' scribe, Damon Lindelof was brought on board later to rewrite in later drafts.

The original version of the film, written by Jon Spaihts and dubbed 'Alien: Engineers' at the time, has leaked online via Prometheus Movie, and Spaihts has even tweeted to confirm it is his edit.

Prometheus Bluray Deleted Scenes Listed

The BBFC have listed the titles of the deleted scenes along with the runtimes from the Prometheus Bluray/DVD.

I did enjoy the film on when it was in cinemas (my review), and liked 'The Art Of' companion book as well. It looks like the scenes are listed in chronological order too, so for those that got a little confused with the film, hopefully the addition of seeing these deleted scenes will help clarify things a little better.
