A look back on women of history whose reigns had a strong impact on concurrent and contemporaneous times.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the exhibition will be available on view at the gallery through appointment only and on the Haven Gallery website.

The exhibition will be on display from Saturday July 11 until August 9 2020.

#CoolArt: Booooooom and Thinkspace present 'Seeing Red’ Group Art Exhibition

Booooooom and Thinkspace present 'Seeing Red’, a group art 12" x 12" invitational exhibition curated by Boooooom founder and Vancouver-based artist Jeff Hamada, featuring all new works from a wide array of artists who’ve been featured on Booooooom over the past ten years, with legendary names and relatively unknown ones showing alongside each other.

Each participating artist was asked to produce an original piece and given only two limiting criteria: that it be a 12" x 12" work, and that they incorporate the colour red. The straightforward theme for the exhibition is intended to provide a simple but striking visual thread linking the many artists in the show in spite of their apparent diversity, and providing the viewer with an accessible way to navigate and engage with that range.

Opening reception is Saturday March 30 from 6-9 pm at ThinkSpace Gallery, 6009 Washington Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232 and will be on view until April 20 2019.

Cool Art: Hero Complex Gallery presents 'The Walking Dead'

The Hero Complex Gallery will be hosting a new art show in celebration of AMC’s 'The Walking Dead' returning to our screens this month. The exhibition runs from Friday October 11 until Saturday October 26 at their gallery on 2020 South Robertson Blvd., Studio D, Los Angeles.

Included in the show are works from artists that I've featured on this blog many times before, like JC Richard, Paul Shipper, Tracie Ching, Adam Rabalais, Jason Palmer and more.
