Spoke Art presents the 'Miyazaki in Los Angeles Art Show', a three day pop-up tribute exhibition to Japanese film-maker and animator Hayao Miyazaki, showcasing over one hundred artists from around the world in celebrating the director's beloved films.

Opening reception is Friday August 17 from 5-10pm at Bergamot - Building Bridges Art Exchange, 2525 Michigan Ave, Unit F2, Santa Monica, CA 90404, and will be on view until Sunday August 19.

Gallery1988 presents 'Mattel + G1988' - an art tribute celebrating 70 years of toys.

Curated by artist Dave Perillo, the art show will feature official Mattel inspired art from artists including Dave Perillo, Amy Mebberson, Andrew Kolb, Anthony Petrie, Brad Hill, Cuddles & Rage, David Seidman, Glen Brogan, Ian Glaubinger, Jason Edmiston, Jellyko, Jerrod Maruyama, Jonathan Reincke, Lauren Gregg, Matt Kaufenberg, Nan Lawson, 100% Soft, Rich Pellegrino, Scott Listfield, Toddbot, Nathan Anderson and Tom Whalen.

The opening reception is on Friday August 14 from 7-10pm PST at Gallery1988 (West), 7308 Melrose Ave., LA, CA 90046 and will be on display until September 5.

Prints will first be available to those who attend the opening, and then online afterwards at the Gallery1988 website.
