Cool Art: Krab Jab Studio presents 'The Three Imposters

Krab Jab Studio presents ‘The Three Impostors’, a group art exhibition featuring the art of Bastien Lecouffe Deharme, Marcela Bolivar, and Samuel Araya, that traverses the dark and sensual underbelly of the psyche.

"Loosely based on the novel of the same name, the art is dark. It’s not meant for those who do not seek to understand the mysteries of our pagan past. The images are riddled with symbolism, and the female figure is our guide into the abyss of dreams. She is solemn, sometimes melancholy, and even rife with arrows she is never our victim, she isn’t ever ours to contain, to keep. The three artists make this very clear, and the message is well received."

The exhibition is on display until November 7 2015 at Krab Jab Studio, 5628 Airport Way S, Ste 150 Seattle, WA 98108.

'The Measure Of Vanity' by Bastien Lecouffe Deharme, is part of 'The Three Imposters', a group art exhibition at Krab Jab Studio featuring the art of Bastien Lecouffe Deharme, Marcela Bolivar, and Samuel Araya.

Opening reception is Saturday October 10 from 6-10pm at Krab Jab Studio, 5628 Airport Way S, Ste 150 Seattle, WA 98108, and there is an Artists Talk with Bastien and Samuel from 7.30pm. The exhibition will be on display until November 7.
