No Film, But Dredd Back As A Comic Book Sequel

'Dredd' was one of my favourite films from last year, but due to a poor box office, more than likely to it being mostly released in 3D, there isn't a chance of a sequel, on the screen at least.

It's now been announced by 2000AD that a comic book sequel to the story began in 'Dredd' will debut in September 2013. No further details were revealed, but it was mentioned there will be an announcement at this year's San Diego Comic Con. Something to look forward to!
