Animated Short: 'Aurora' by Aimée de Jongh

'Aurora' is a short animated film by Aimée de Jongh and was part of the Ultrakort 2012 film programme, in which Dutch animators were given the opportunity to make a 2-minute film in six months. Every short film was screened before a blockbuster in all Pathé cinemas during the summer of 2012. "Aurora" was screened before "Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter".

'Aurora' is based on a Dutch fairytale about spooky white apparitions that haunt the forests of the Netherlands. A young female is running from the haunting White Wives, but as she reaches her final destination, it turns out that nothing is what it seems.
