A major coup for collectors on the day will be the appearance of the 3 fans who’ve helped stationery brand, Helix, to re-launch its 1970’s Star Wars stationery range. At a recent auction, a collection of 'Star Wars' pencil cases and soap bars launched to promote the film's original release in 1977, sold at auction for almost £5000! One of the fans instrumental in reviving the much loved range is Leamington’s own Craig Spivey from Spivey Creative.
The UK R2 Builders Club will also be there. They are a group of droid builders with their own screen accurate self built Astromech droids as well as various other droids including Mouse Droids, Chopper & BB8. Some of the builders have been fortunate enough to be involved in some high profile Lucasfilm events and have even worked on the recent Star Wars movies.
