Corey Helford Gallery presents 'Freeks', a solo exhibition from Canadian artist and illustrator Ryan Heshka, celebrating weirdos, misfits, oddballs, and nonconformists everywhere, of every size and category, inside and out, and features a wide range of work from Heshka’s unexpected alternate universe, including:
- Brand new oil paintings and gouache works on paper
- The complete comic book art from his Mean Girls Club: Pink Dawn graphic novel, marking the first time the artist has made his original comic book artwork available for purchase
- The exclusive launch of his new Frog Wife comic book (3 colour risograph, signed and limited edition of 375, click here for preview), along with a new Frog Wife screen print (by Pressure Printing) and Frog Wife oil portrait
- Plus, a limited number of the artist’s first monograph, Fatales: The Art of Ryan Heshka (published by Cernunnos), will also be available to purchase on opening night.
The exhibition will be on view through September 14 2019.
