Shortlist For The 2020 Annual British Science Fiction Association (BSFA) Awards Announced

The British Science Fiction Association (BSFA) have announced the shortlist for its annual BSFA Awards for works first published in 2019.

The BSFA Awards draw on nominations from their membership, and in the case of the Best Novel Award are open to UK publications only.

The Awards will be presented during Concentric: Eastercon 2020, at The Hilton Metropole Hotel, Birmingham, from 10-13 April 2019.

Best Novel

  • The Green Man’s Foe by Juliet E McKenna (Wizard’s Tower Press)
  • Atlas Alone by Emma Newman (Gollancz)
  • Fleet of Knives by Gareth L Powell (Titan Books)
  • Children of Ruin by Adrian Tchaikovsky (Tor)
  • The Rosewater Insurrection by Tade Thompson (Orbit)

Best Shorter Fiction
