Winners Of The 2025 Annual British Science Fiction Association (BSFA) Awards Announced

The British Science Fiction Association (BSFA) have announced the winners of the annual BSFA Awards, for works first published in 2024.

They are fan awards that not only seek to honour the most worthy examples in each category, but also to promote the genre of science fiction, and get people reading, talking about, and enjoying all that contemporary science fiction has to offer.

Best Novel

  • Three Eight One by Aliya Whiteley (Rebellion Publishing)

 

Best Short Fiction

  • ‘Why Don’t We Just Kill the Kid in the Omelas Hole’ by Isabelle Kim (Clarkesworld)

Best Shorter Fiction (Novelette & Novella Equivalent)

  • Saturation Point by Adrian Tchaikovsky (Solaris)

 

Best Younger Readers

  • Doctor Who: Caged by Una McCormack (Penguin)

Best Collection

  • Punks4Palestine: An Anthology of Hopeful SciFi for an Uncertain Future ed Jasen Bacon (Hyphen Press)

Best Audio
