The journey of getting John Carter to the big screen has been very long and varied, going through many hands and the rights passing between different studios. Back in 2004 when Paramount had the rights, Kerry Conran was attached to direct the film. This is his project pitch to Paramount.
I really like this, featuring artwork and some CGI work - liking the CGI swordfight between what would be Carter and a Thark!
