Trailer For Kickstarter Indie Film 'Hardland'

After losing their parents, two brothers endure the collapse of modern society when the power grid goes down.
Writer/Director Samuel Jacob has created a story in the spirit of "The Thin Red Line", and "The Road", that takes us on a journey through loss, love, and legacy.
In their new world, devoid of civility, the ensuing chaos creates difficult circumstances that they must navigate in order to survive, Hardland.
This is a Kickstarter Film Trailer, their aim is to finish the film and submit to festivals in 2014 such as Cannes, Sundance, Tribeca.

A bit more about the film from writer/director Samuel Jacob:
"I desire films that make you feel something deep inside and move you in some way or another. In writing Hardland, I wanted to see how this conflict would make these characters react and respond in the midst of hardships. As a self discovery and awareness film, I think it will cause one to examine what they would do, and how they would react in this scenario, and under the duress our characters are facing.

...Hardland is about choices, facing our fears, and finding hope.

I don't believe in making a movie just to make one. There has to be a compelling reason for me or I'm not interested."
