Cool Art: Gallery Denmark presents 'Silver Screams' by Brian Ewing
Gallery Denmark presents 'Silver Screams' by Brian Ewing, a solo show featuring limited edition screen print rock posters and art prints.
The exhibition opens Saturday November 7 at Gallery Denmark, 463 North High, 2nd Floor, Columbus, Ohio 43215, and will be on display until November 30.
To kick off the event, Brian is releasing Silver Scream colourway prints of The Bride, The Monster and The Creature.
They're 18" x 24" signed and numbered screenprints, with the Silver Scream colourways in limited editions of 75 for $50 each or as a set of 3 for $125. The foil edition is in a limited edition of 20 and costs $100 each or $250 for the set of 3.

Cool Art: ThinkSpace Gallery presents 'Matador' by Brian M Viveros
ThinkSpace Gallery presents 'Matador', a new solo art exhibition featuring new paintings, prints and charcoal works by Brian M Viveros.
This is the first comprehensive presentation of all new work by the artist in years, and will feature some of his largest and most accomplished paintings to date. The gallery takeover will include a site-specific installation, props and source materials from the artist's studio, and the unveiling of 'Bullheaded', a three-dimensional sculpt created in collaboration with Pretty In Plastic.
ThinkSpace Gallery will also be releasing 'The Dirtyland: The Art Of Brian M Viveros', a 216-page full colour art book, documenting eighteen years of his work including essays, interviews and behind-the-scenes. Limited copies will be available at the opening reception and then on-line via the ThinkSpace shop and other outlets from late November.

'Flash Gordon' by Alex Ross, created for a special BAFTA red carpet celebration to honour the 35th anniversary of the film on Saturday November 28.
The BAFTA event features a reception, a screening of the film and a special Q&A with members of the cast and crew - confirmed guests include Sam J Jones (Flash Gordon), Melody Anderson (Dale Arden), Brian Blessed (Prince Vultan), Ornella Muti (Princess Aura), Peter Wyngard (Klytus), Trevor Butterfield (Hawksman & MingsGuard), Howard Blake (Composer), George Gibbs (SFX Supervisor), Dave Watson (SFX Supervisor).
The Alex Ross print will be available to all ticket holders before being released as a print to the public next year. Various copies of the poster will be signed by the cast and sold for charity at the event.

Cool Art: Gallery1988 presents 'Star Wars: Art Awakens' Art Exhibit
Gallery1988 presents 'Art Awakens', one of the most anticipated pop culture art shows of all-time will take place November 14-15 at Gallery1988 (West) in Los Angeles.
The weekend long exhibit features 'Star Wars' inspired art from top professional and emerging artists, including five winners of the Art Awakens Fan Art Competition, chosen by a judging committee that includes members from Disney, Lucasfilm and Industrial Light & Magic, who will also have their art included in the gallery exhibit. The winners will also be flown out to Los Angeles to attend a VIP opening reception.
Original artwork form the exhibit will be auctioned off in the name of Star Wars: Force for Change to benefit UNICEF Kid Power through eBay's Giving Works, from November 13-23, along with select prints for sale from November 13 until December 12.
7 screenprints will be available exclusively in-store during the gallery event.

Light Grey Art Lab presents 'Cosmos', an exhibition and limited edition publication featuring gorgeous art by 100 artists from around the globe.
The 'Cosmos Tarot & Oracle Deck' comes in a gilded rigid-board box and is 10.5" wide x 5.5" tall 1.25" deep and costs $35.
Each card is also available as a giclée print on archival, premium matte paper with archival inks.
The printed project is an interactive deck that has 78 Tarot cards and 22 oracle cards inspired by the planets and influential astral bodies. The cards are arranged into elemental suits with gold foil constellations, accents, and gilded edges. The project also includes a 150-page guidebook with the history, story, and resources for each card. The guidebook also includes cosmic tarot spreads for reading and meditation.
