#CoolArt: 'Into The Pixel' 2018 Video Game Art Collection Announced

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) and the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) have announced the 16 winning pieces of the world-renowned 2018 Into the Pixel (ITP) collection.

Created in 2004, the annual ITP art exhibit honours video game artists who continue to push the interactive entertainment art form forward.

Co-produced by the ESA and AIAS, the 2018 ITP collection will be shown for the first time at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the world’s premier trade show for computer and video games and related products, from June 12-14 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

All 16 pieces will be auctioned off on eBay during E3 week. Proceeds from the auction will raise funds for the ESA and AIAS Foundations to support future game makers. The auction begins Tuesday June 12 at 12pm PT, and concludes Saturday June 16 at 12pm PT at the AIAS eBay page.
