Back for a fifth year, the
Film4 Summer Screen at Somerset House season has commissioned
Print Club London to curate a series of contemporary screen printed film posters.
Print Club London has hand-picked an assortment of styles and artists, featuring artwork by
Aleesha Nandhra,
Cassandra Yap,
Concepción Studios,
Elliot Kruszynski,
Eve Lloyd Knight,
Gavin Dobson,
Joe Wilson,
Joseph Vass,
Louis Carpenter,
Lucille Clerc,
Peter Strain,
Poppy Chencellor,
RYCA,
Rose Electra Harris,
Rose Stallard,
Rozalina Burkova,
Steve Wilson and
Thomas Whitcombe. Each exhibiting artist will reimagine a poster for one of the films in this season’s programme, taking particular scenes, quotes, or characters from their selected titles as inspiration.
Each film poster will be a limited edition and exclusively available to buy for £60 from the exhibition at Somerset House and from
Print Club London afterwards.
Opening reception is Wednesday August 2 from 6-9pm at The West Wing Galleries, Somerset House, and the exhibition will be open daily until late throughout the
Film4 Summer Screen at Somerset House season, which runs from August 10 until August 23.
